Volunteers In order to make our U4 - U8 fall league successful, we require parent volunteer coaches to help. Some prior soccer experience would be beneficial but is not a requirement. No team will be allowed to practice or play without a coach. MSA will pay the fees if a parent volunteer coach is interested in participating in a coaching module/certification course. A soccer curriculum will be provided by MSA.

New Uniforms Starting with the fall season all old and new U10 – U14 players will be required to purchase a new uniform at Sungold Sports located at 714 E Kay Avenue, Mitchell (uniform fitting date announcement TBD). The uniform will consist of 2 jerseys (yellow and black), a pair of shorts and 2 pair of socks. U10 players will only be required to purchase a black jersey.

Covid-19 Plan Due to Covid-19 we have had to make some adjustments to keep our parents, players, referees, and community safe while at the soccer complex.

? Parents will be required to practice social distancing per the CDC guidelines while at the soccer complex.
? No parents will be allowed on the fields during practices. They must stay on the sidelines and stay a minimum of 6 feet apart from other families.
? Masks are HIGHLY recommended while at the complex.
? Families must also practice social distancing guidelines along the sidelines or in the bleachers while watching scrimmages.
? We ask that each player have a personal hand sanitizer.
? If you or your child has been in contact with someone that has tested positive for Covid-19, we ask that you not come to practice or games for 2 full weeks.

If we must abruptly end the season due to the virus, refunds will not be given. While the Mitchell Soccer Association encourages use of CDC hygiene and distancing practices in relation to coronavirus during all Association events, the Association does not guarantee an individual will not be exposed to the virus. By participating in Association events, an individual acknowledges the risk of exposure and elects to do so at their own risk.
